Last month, we had so much fun seeing how excited our podcasters were about our RSS feeds announcement, so we’ve decided to keep the good news flowing.
Patreon is partnering up with Podomatic to help you MAKE WAVES in the podcasting community.
…No, not these kind. Would be fun, though `¯_(ツ)/¯`_
We know that the business of podcasting isn’t as easy as it seems. Launching a podcast and growing it’s following is hard enough — then there’s the task of funding your show. Worry not, because we have great news! Patreon is integrating with Podomatic so that podcasters can easily monetize their business and build a closer network with their fans.
Not on Podomatic?
Founded in 2005, Podomatic is a global leader in providing publishing and hosting services to podcasters. As the world’s largest community of independent podcasters, Podomatic’s core mission from day one is to build the best tools and platform to help podcasters succeed.
“Podomatic’s new partnership with Patreon is a match made in heaven. Supporting independent creators and nurturing talent is a strong vision shared by both brands. With this partnership, podcasters can now be funded by listeners directly. Millions of podcasters enrich our lives daily, and with Patreon, it’s now easier for all of us to give a little back.” – Matthew DeMonaco, Business Development at Podomatic
You can put a Patreon button on your Podomatic profile that links directly to your Patreon page. This way, all your followers on Podomatic will immediately see how they can contribute more to your work. This is what it looks like:
Or on a customizable page, it looks like this!
Adding the button is super easy. Just head to the “funding” tab in your Podomatic settings and add the link to your Patreon page.
If you’re not on Podomatic yet, here are a few reasons why you might want to consider signing up:
- Podomatic makes it easy to produce a podcast and share it with a community of enthusiastic podcast listeners
- There’s endless inspiration and other podcasts to discover, all in one platform
- You can drive more traffic to your Patreon page by sharing it to an active podcast community on your Podomatic profile.
We couldn’t be more excited about this integration with Podomatic and the possibilities it brings for Patreon creators!
